02 / About Misawa
Misawa is the DJ project of Andrew Smith, named for the Japanese city where he was born.
A founder of Supply New York, Smith has spent more than a decade creating and soundtracking gatherings around the world: from clubs and rooftops to pools, festivals, destination weekends, brand events, and private parties.
His sets move fluidly through disco, house, indie dance, and electronic music, shaped less by genre than by setting: slow-build openings, sunlit afternoons, sunset transitions, and late-night rooms. Over the years, that approach has taken him from NYC to LA, SF to MIA, to Tulum, Tokyo, Ibiza, Berlin, and beyond.
